Marshaled at the run because I was injured. I was supposed to get a free buff and event entry, this did not happen. I have emailed Tough runner but no reply. Very disappointed.

Great run, loved the course. I was on my way to register when I received the you can't register today email. Easily registered on Sunday morning at 8am so had to wait over an hour to run. Queued for ages for the toilet, shooed out of Falkirk stadium while trying to find a warm spot - 4 degrees. Disorganised pens, couldn't hear starting information. No warm up - I'm a Fitsteps instructor so could have done it for you. No fuel at water stations. No protein on finishing. No goddie bag. Very disappointing after the hype of being the first Falkirk half. Part refund of entry fee would be greatly appreciated.

The tunnel at the Falkirk Wheel was very dark and the stairs down to canal path were very muddy an caused a hold up but generally very good.

Tshirt should have been included. No goody bag at end. No pins in envelope nor was there a baggage tag - paid for my number tof he posted out. Just felt like it was a constant ask and of money and promises were not delivered. So a bit disappointed.

Hi, lucky I’m from Falkirk so was able to walk and knew the route. However it was extremely unorganised and I feel we got robbed. If 1800 took part at £35 that over £63,000 and here what we didn’t get;No goodies bags as advised in sign upNo t-shirts available for saleNot enough toilets and no hand washNo Finish sign, it said Start!!!No miles markers from 3 miles No toilets on the course and not where advertised at mile 9This was advised as a flat race and no detail of the hills/incline The race wasn’t inclusive as it said it was, this could not have been suitable for a wheelchair No variety food vendersNo lights in the tunnel at the wheelWe were also advise all numbers etc would be posted however this did not happenI didn’t receive any emails regarding the event and had to chase this up directly I have also had massive issues with the app and have not been able to sign in for my race timesLastly we were sent an email the day before to say the ‘groundmen’ had gone ‘awol’!! Well I felt this was highly unprofessional.

Route was very good but thought the event overall could have been better managed. Packs weren’t sent out so had to be collected from the stadium. On the morning, there was disorganisation at the toilets, with long queues. No one there to Marshall and direct or to even advise that the stadium was actually open for use. It was after 9am when we were advised of this. Medal was poor, no date on it. No finishers pack bagged and ready to be handed out. For the price of entry, we got a medal and a can of juice (or water). No snack bar/fruit either. Disappointed not to have got a TShirt for completion (other events I’ve done provide this). Route was good and well managed with the road closures / traffic control. Was great to hold an event like this within the town and I’m hopeful that it will become a yearly event. It’s good for the town.
