Fall Backyard Burn Trail Run - Fountainhead

Welcome to the Fountainhead Regional Park, an exciting and beautiful race course located along the stunning banks of the Occoquan Reservoir in Western Fairfax County. For over 15 years, we have been hosting races at this incredible location, and it has become a firm favorite among racers. Mark your calendars because the race is happening on Sunday, November 19, 2023. You have two options for the course length and elevation gain: either take on the 4.8-mile course with an elevation gain of 450 feet, or challenge yourself further with the 10.3-mile course featuring a 950-foot elevation gain. But it's not just about the race. We also have a special charity partnership with Homestretch, a local nonprofit organization. When you register for the event, you'll have the opportunity to support Homestretch and their invaluable services for families in our community.
