Light up the night in the Fantasy 5K Run & 2M Walk, a nighttime run or 2 mile walk along the shores of Lake Monona. As part of the Holiday Fantasy In Lights, runners will be treated to an amazing display of lights as they run through Olin Park to downtown Madison and back. This is a fun run without official timing.

Route information
The 5K Run & 2 Mile Walk starts at 5 pm at the top of Olin Park in front the Pavilion. Runners will start in sync with the official Holiday Lighting Ceremony (live on local television), they will run through the maze of holiday lights before exiting the park. Runners continue on the Capital City Bike Path towards the Monona Terrace Convention Center where they will turn around and return to the start/finish area. For safety on the 5K course, pets and strollers are not permitted.

All participants will receive a embroidered, knit cap, drinks, food, live entertainment (band or DJ) after the run, Finisher’s Medal for 5K Runners, professionally timed race and much more.
