This Father's day special is the perfect setting for some serious family bonding. Based at Ralston Creek bike Path, runners will speed down Ralston Valley and down to the panoramic Long Lake Regional park. Dads and their families are sure to enjoy the fun contests and variety of races offered.

Route information
All events aside from the Manly Mile begin on concrete at Ralston Valley before snaking down towards the Meadows at Westwood. Runners can take in panoramic views of nearby creeks and woodland areas in this beautiful suburb.
All other races and walks will then loop back towards the Ralston Valley Park while those competing in the 10 miles will continue on towards the Long Lake regional park. This downhill section will then be followed by a loop as runners then return to the start point, running back through the Meadows.
Those in the Manly Mile will begin at Ralston valley park before heading towards the Apex Center after traversing over Ralston Creek. A short, sharp and flat race for all dads to test themselves on. This race is strictly casual and those who want to compete can do so at their own pace.

Take the exit from Indiana Street onto Western 72nd Avenue. Free parking can be found at the south and west side of the Apex Center. Please don't park on 72nd avenue or in the church parking lot.

Packet Pickup
All runners can pick up their race packets at 7:00am on the day of the event, please head to the registration tent in good time to ensure that your pre-race planning goes smoothly. There is also an advanced packet pickup between 4-7pm on Friday at Road Runner Sports Westminister.
Water Stations
10 Mile Course: There are 3 water stations at miles 1.5, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8.5.
10k Course: There are two water stations at miles 1.5, 2.75, 3.25, and 4.5.
5k Course 5k racers will see a water station two times at miles 1.25 and 1.75.
ALL water stations contain water and sports drinks.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome to the event as long as they are kept on a leash at all times. They must also start at the back of the pack. The race will be held near the Apex Center, which is prohibited from entry by dogs.
Toilets
There will be toilets located in the park itself.
Raceday Raffle
There will be a charity raffle with the Community Table charity on race-morning. Please consider donating the following critical needs items: Beans, Cereal, Body Wash, Canned fruit, Lotion. Runners who bring 5 of these donations will be entered into an exclusive race day raffle.
Sneaker4Funds
Participants can donate their used trainers or sneakers to benefit Growing Home. Please do not bring sandals, brown shoes, flip flops, or cleats. When donating shoes, please tie them together or put a rubber band around them.
Awards Ceremony
The top 3 Men and Women overall will be recognized alongside the top 3 Men and Women in the following categories: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. The fastest man in the Manly Mile will receive an award.
T-Shirt and Mug
All racers will receive a short-sleeved tech shirt. 10-mile finishers will receive a ceramic finishers campfire mug in blue or yellow.
After Party
There will be an after-party at the Elevated Seltzer in Olde town Arvada.
Chip Timed
All athletes will be chip timed.
