Challenge yourself to this gruelling 72.4 mile gravel climb over the famous Fish Rock Road with 9,670ft of elevation gain. The route starts in Boonville and heads west along the quiet Mountain View Road, with epic views, and ample time to get your mind ready for the challenge ahead.
After riding alongside the Pacific Ocean for a brief 10 miles, it's time to turn inward and tackle the Fish Rock Road. A steep slope upwards with only the gravel under your tires to keep you company, it's a great test of your mental and physical fortitude.
There is also a great gravel road climb and descent, to keep the terrain interesting.
This ride is not a joke. Every crazy thing you've heard about Fish Rock Road is probably true, or in some way related to something that is true.

Boonville is a small town, however, there are multiple places to park. Parking at the Fairgrounds will be the most convenient, as it is an easy ride to and from the start line.
You can also park at the start line at Anderson Valley Jr-Sr High along the roadside, or at the finish line at Anderson Valley Brewing Company, however, there will be limited parking here.

Where is the camping site for the Fish Rock?
Campsites will be available at the Anderson Valley Brewing Company on Friday night. This is also the location of the finish line and festival.
Will my race packet be mailed out to me for the Fish Rock?
No, all race packets will be collected on Friday from 5-7pm or Saturday from 7am onwards.
What tires should I use to ride the Fish Rock?
It's recommended that have 28c tires or bigger. Though you'll be riding over gravel, road bikes are recommended.
