The Forbidden Forest 30 hour Ultra Run and only 30 hour/100 mile Connecticut race will take place in Roosevelt Forest. A charitable portion of this race will go to the Roosevelt Forest Trail Commission and the Stratford EMS.

What’s Included

An incredible buckle will be given to all those achieving 100 miles in the 30 hours, but that does not win the race; it is most miles achieved in 30 hours.

Course Details

The course is a 2.23 mile or 45 completions earns a 100 mile buckle on a slightly rolling hill, some with roots and rocks, it's New England running, all doable, last year 5 runners received buckles on a day of unexpected 90 degree heat and 80% humidity. The average miles by winners of the 9 hour race was 50 miles in 9 hours.

Raceday Logistics

There will be a packet pickup between 3PM and 6PM, at the Forest Pavilion, the Friday before (28th); at this time or early on Saturday Morning (29th) you can choose a place to store gear to be used during the race and for a "rest and refreshment station" in an adjacent field to use for your for 30 hour endeavor,
