Forget Me Not Race for Alzheimer's benefitting The Pat Summitt Foundation

Welcome to the Forget Me Not Race for Alzheimer's benefiting The Pat Summitt Foundation! We're excited to announce that this year we're bringing back the in-person race along with a virtual option. Our mission is to raise both awareness and funds to combat this devastating disease. Join us in the fight for a cure as we stand alongside Pat Summitt herself. Details: Mark your calendars for the 14th Annual Forget Me Not 5K/10K/1Mile Race happening on April 13, 2024. The 10K race will start at 8:00 am, followed by the 5K at 8:30 am, and the 1 Mile run also at 8:30 am. We'll be running through Farragut Knoxville, TN, starting at Planet Fitness and going through the scenic Village Green subdivision. The 5K offers a mostly flat course, while the 10K will challenge you with a couple of vibrant hills along the way. To secure your spot in this amazing event, make sure to register and pay the entry fee. It's only $30 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, and $25 for the 1 Mile. Remember, only registered participants will receive a race shirt and be eligible for prizes. Not only will you be supporting a great cause by participating, but your contribution will directly benefit The Pat Summitt Clinic at The University of Tennessee Medical Center for Alzheimer's research. Runners, get ready to be champions for a crucial cause! We also encourage everyone to become an individual fundraiser when registering. Or if you're unable to join the race, you can still create a fundraising page to make a difference. Every effort counts and brings us closer to our goal. Your participation comes with a souvenir! Each runner will receive an official Forget Me Not Race t-shirt. Be sure to select your preferred size when registering. Keep in mind that if you register after April 6, 2024, we cannot guarantee your preferred size. Virtual runners outside the area will receive their t-shirts by mail after the race. We want to make sure you're fully prepared for the race. That's why we're providing race packets that include your shirt, coupons, and other exciting goodies. You can pick up your packet and shirt on Friday, April 12 at Little Joe's Pizza in Farragut between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. And of course, let's talk about prizes! We'll be awarding prizes to the top three finishers in both the 5K and 10K races. And for our 1 Mile participants, everyone will receive a special participant award. So lace up your shoes, get ready to showcase your skills, and maybe even earn some recognition!
