Route information
The Annual Foster 5K around the Sunnyvale Baylands is a great reason to get the whole family outside and running in support of a great cause. The course will take runners around the beautifully preserved wetlands of San Francisco Bay, and can be taken at whatever pace feels comfortable.
It will not be a timed race, so runners can focus on appreciating their surroundings, mingling with new friends, and enjoying the live music, snacks and vendor booths at the buzzing after party, all in support of a great cause.
The proceeds from this race go to supporting foster kids in the community served by Child Advocates, CASA of Silicon Valley.

Parking:
There is plenty of parking at the Park, but please bring cash for entry as it is $6 for the car entry fee. Carpooling is suggested and encouraged.
Event day logistics
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be held on the Saturday before the race at A Runner's Mind in Los Altos from 10am to 6pm.
Schedule:
09:00am: Same day registration opens
09:45am: Warmups and Announcements
10:00am: 5K Run/Walk Starts
10:30am: Finish party with live music, snacks, and booths.
11:15am: Prizes and raffle
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before race time to ensure plenty of time for registration
