This hilly, looped course takes runners through the pristine Rocky Mountains in San Juan National Forest where they will sweep through the Turkey Springs Trail under beautiful trail cover.
The course is initially gently uphill but quickly rises around the 2-mile marker where participants will climb up to 8,302 feet. They will then gently roll downhill to 7,929 feet and complete the loop of the course to finish.

Get full directionsDirections
From Highway 160, travel north on Piedra Road (CR 600) for 6 1/2 miles and turn left onto Turkey Springs Road (USFS Road 629). Travel 3 1/4 miles and turn right onto USFS Road 629 to find the event start closeby.
Parking
All participants and spectators should park along the east side of Turkey Springs Road.
