Rev up your bikes and your hearts for the "Freeze Your Fanny" cycling extravaganza, the annual kickoff for cycling enthusiasts in our area! This isn't just any ride; it's a chance to pedal with purpose. The event is the main fundraising engine for East Texas Lightnin'—a dedicated squad of athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities who shine in Special Olympics Texas events. Embrace the scenic beauty of East Texas and make your miles matter on Saturday, February 3rd. Pick up your race packet on Friday or the morning of the race, from 8:30 to 9:00 AM, and be ready to ride out from Orr PreOwned Longview at 10:00 AM. Teams, roll out front and keep your eyes peeled for clear route signs and supportive SAG vehicles. And don't worry, if the weather tries to freeze our plans, we have a one-hour delay tucked up our sleeves to ensure a safe start!
