Butler of Kentucky, who fought in the War of 1812 and the Mexican-American War. The park stands on the grounds of the Butler family farm, established by General Butler's father, Percival Butler, a Revolutionary War veteran. As you explore the park, you can visit the historic Butler-Turpin House, which dates back to 1859 and now serves as a fascinating museum. Discover the family's captivating history through guided tours and view remarkable artifacts. In addition to the museum, the park offers an array of amenities for visitors, including a magnificent lodge, a campground, an event center, and a stunning lake.
