Route information
All courses will have the same start and finish line in Albert Whitted Park! The courses run along Tampa Bay with beautiful views of the water, with Tampa in the distance.
5K:
The route will travel an out-and-back course in beautiful, downtown St. Pete. Participants will run along the water before returning to Albert Whitted Park for the finish line and post-event party.
10K:
The route will travel an out-and-back course in beautiful, downtown St. Pete. Participants will run along the water, past the 5K turnaround point, before returning to Albert Whitted Park for the finish line and the post-event party.
Kids Fun Run:
The Kids Fun Run has two distance options for children 12 and under: 1/3 mile and 1/8 mile. Both distances run near the park with views of the water and Tampa Bay in the distance.

What's included
The fun begins before the race, continues on the course and culminates in our beach-themed post-race celebration which will include vendors, music, food & beverage and a play area for kids.
The course will be marked with directional arrows.
The 10K will have three water stops on course with water and Gatorade product, and the 5K will have one water stop.
The 10K and 5K will be officially timed.
All 10K and 5K runners will receive a custom Getaway 10K or Getaway 5K finisher’s medal.

The Getaway 10K & 5K will be taking place at Albert Whitted Park, located in the downtown area near the Dali Museum, the Mahaffey Theatre and the Rowdies Stadium.
Mahaffey Theater Parking:
The garage at the Mahaffey Theater will be open and available to runners from 6:00am-12:00pm on race day! There is a $10 fee for using this parking garage, but it's the closest and best option for race day! Parking address: 400 – 1st Street SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
On-Street Parking – Metered:
There are hundreds of metered parking spots available for residents and visitors in the downtown area. Parking rates vary across the downtown area but rates and limits are clearly located on each meter. Many of these metered parking options are free on the weekends, just be sure to check the enforcement times. When you do need to pay for your parking, the city has made it easy and convenient with the ParkMobile app for your smartphone, along with traditional coin or credit options.

Corrigan Sports Enterprises
Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) was established in 1991 with the goal of creating, managing and implementing sports and event marketing opportunities for the corporate community. In that time, CSE has grown into one of the strongest marketing organizations in the area. The addition of the Oakland (Ca.) Running Festival and the partnership with the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association)not only enhanced CSE’s already impressive resume but has expanded CSE nationwide.
