Route information
The Girls on the Run 5K in the largest 5K series in the country. The run is the end-of-season celebratory event for all the Girls on the Run teams across Silicon Valley.
The 5K will take runners in and around the picturesque Vasona Park in Los Gatos. It will be an un-timed event, allowing runners, joggers, walkers and dancers of all ages and abilities to make their way around the course.
It's the perfect family-friendly event come together as a community and inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident through creatively integrating running into their awesome curriculum.
Water will be available at the start, finish, and halfway point through the 5K.

Parking:
Free parking will be at 120 Albright Way, Los Gatos (Netflix Parking Lot off of Winchester) which is approximately 1.5 miles from the venue. Shuttles will run from 5:30am-7:30am to the venue and back from 9:00 am-12:00 pm after the event.
Bike:
There will be a bike rack near the finish line area to lock your bike
Ride Share Services (Uber/Lyft):
Put your drop-off location to Northeast corner of University Ave. and Blossom Hill Rd.
To avoid all 5K traffic and shuttle buses, tell your driver to follow the driving directions listed below:
HWY 17 to HWY 9 (towards Saratoga)
Turn RIGHT on University Ave
Cross over Blossom Hill Rd. and drop off at the corner
Walk north on University Ave and enter Vasona Park through the Peppertree Gate

Event day logistics
Packet pickup: Girls who are participating in the program and coaches are already registered and will receive their 5K materials from the head coach. For all other 5K Participants, packet pickup will be on Thursday, May 14 from 12:00pm - 08:00pm at Sports Basement, Pruneyard, Campbell, 1875 S. Bascom Ave.
Schedule:
05:30am - 07:30am: Free shuttle service from off-site parking to event
06:00am: Registration and bib pickup opens - community runners are asked to arrive between 6:30 - 7:00am.
08:00am: 5K begins - there will be 4 waves of starts, which will be assigned to you before the race.
10:00am: Event Ends
Facilities:
- Toilets - there will be bathrooms available at the event village
- There will not be a bag check available, so please leave valuables at home.
Spectator Info
Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come and support on the day. It promises to be an awesome day of fun for the whole family.
