Route information
Spin through the vibrant Northern California Wine Country in the annual Giro Bella Ride. An event which consistently receives raving reviews, the event offers 3 distances for all level of cyclist, all designed to challenge you and inspire you with dramatic scenery.
Century Ride: 100.9 miles
Calling all serious cyclists for this physical challenge in the saddle. If you consider yourself in great physical condition and experience with sustained thigh-burning climbs, this is the route for you.
With challenge comes equal reward, as you immerse yourself in the best scenic country that Sonoma County has to offer, including vineyards, rolling hills and towering redwood groves. The route will take you through 3 of the County's most stunning wine regions of Russian River, Alexander Valley, and Dry Creek Valley, and will have plenty of rest stops along the way to keep you fuelled and ready.
With 5538 ft of climbing, mostly contained in the last 20 miles, the ice cold beverage and free food at the finish will be well deserved.
Metric Century Ride: 66.8 miles (100km)
The Metric Century Ride is perfect for intermediate riders looking for a longer ride without the extreme climbs of the Century Ride. Do not mistake this for an easy ride, however, with 3 moderate climbs around the route will be sure to take your breath away and feel the rush of the rider's high.
With plenty of rest stops around the route, it promises to be an awesome day on the bike exploring 3 different wine regions, and celebrating at the finish with live music, a cold beverage, and new friends.
Family Fun Ride: 27.6 miles
A short and sweet ride for beginner cyclists or those looking for a more relaxed spin, this 27.6 mile route will still take you through vibrant vineyards and rolling pastures, and features a modest 896ft of climbing, mostly up Vine Hill Rd to finish up the ride.
All riders will celebrate at the end with a post-ride meal from local vendors, and an awesome bike expo featuring live music, massages, and cold beverages.
