Great Trail Race routes

Starting in Truckee and finishing in Tahoe City, this epic trail race has a combination of technical ascents laced with stunning views of the Lake Tahoe region. The vast majority of this race takes place on fire roads and trails, with a short section on paved roads on the Fiberboard Freeway. The beautiful evergreen Sierra Forests add welcoming shade throughout the course.

The Elite Course is a more sophisticated trail run/bike course and should only be attempted by those with a few similarly complex runs under their belt.
