Route information
The Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay returns with a brand new course through Griffith Course. Starting in the Old LA Zoo Picnic Area, the course follows the Upper and Lower Old Zoo Trails and Beacon Trail in a 5.25 mile loop around the park.
Participants in the 8k event will complete this loop once. Teams for the Marathon Relay will consist of 5 people. Each of them will complete one full lap, meaning the whole team will run 26.25 miles in total.
There will be two aid stations on the course, one at mile 1.75 and one at mile 3.75. Each station will be supported by staff, and have water, snacks, electrolyte drink, and an EMT.
