Half Marathon Relay (2 person)
The race starts on the main trail which is a flat horse/pedestrian trail before veering off to the Skyline Trail where runners will run for one mile while climbing over 300 feet before connecting and descending on the Condor Trail for .7 miles. The turnaround at the end of Condor Trail will have runners going back up the short distance to Skyline Trail where they will have a long descent back to the main trail. From there it is a fast and flat run back to the finish/exchange area by Pettigrew Field. Along the way enjoy vista views of Northeast Los Angeles, Burbank, and the San Gabriel Mountains.

Directions and parking
The Griffith Park Trail Run takes place at the site of the Pettigrew, in Griffith Park, on the east side.
From the 5 North, take the Griffith Park exit, turn right on Crystal Springs Drive and Left on Griffith Park Drive.
From the 5 South, exit Los Feliz Blvd. West., turn right at Crystal Springs Drive (Riverside Dr. turns into Crystal Springs Dr.) and turn left on Griffith Park Drive.
From the 134 East, exit Victory Blvd. and follow signs to the LA Zoo. Turn right onto Riverside and take an immediate left onto Zoo Drive. (Turns into Crystal Springs Dr.) Turn right on Griffith Park Dr.
From the 134 West Take Zoo Drive Exit. Turn left onto Zoo Drive. (Turns into Crystal Springs Dr.) Turn right on Griffith Park Dr.
Parking and Staging Area will be at Griffith Park Pettigrew Area.

OTG Events is Glendale based event production company that is focused on producing hyper local running experiences. Founded in 2015 by Choy and Leland, OTG Event’s first production was the 2016 Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay & 8K. Events produced and operated by OTG Events include the Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay, Griffith Park Trail Run 11K, Half Marathon, and Relay, and the Mt. Hollywood 12K | 8K Trail Run.
What is the course terrain composed of for the Griffith Park Trial Run?
The 11K course is approximately 6.55 miles of trails, and fire roads, some sections of the trail are sandy. It is recommended you wear trail running shoes to better handle the uphill and downhill sections of the course. The Half Marathon course is identical to the 11K course.
Can a friend pick up my packet?
Yes. They will need to bring a photocopy of your ID.
Will there be Aid Stations? or Port-a-potties?
There will be aid stations at the start/finish, and at miles 1.75, 3.25, and 5 for the 11K. For the Half aid stations will be at start/finish, miles 1.75, 3.25, 5, 6.55, 8.3, and 10. Porta-a-Potties will only be at start/finish.
