Half Moon Bay is a picturesque town in Northern California, known for its beautiful coastline and world-class surfing. Thankfully for racers, the harbor offers a sheltered swim or Paddle Board. The hillside provides shade and shelter in it's ancient redwood forests and the cool coastal breeze creates the perfect environment to push hard on the cycle.

How to get there

There will be free parking for all participants and spectators next to the transition area in Pillar Point Harbor. Please ensure you do not accidentally park on the bike route as this can cause major disruptions.

Please make sure you arrive at least 1.5 hours before the start of your event to give yourself enough time to get parked, registered, and warmed up. Please also ensure you have set up your transition before it closes at 7:00 am as nobody will be allowed in after this time.

Is there parking available near the Half Moon Bay triathlon?
Yes, there will be free parking for all participants and spectators just next to the transition zone at Pillar Point Habor.
What time do I need to have my bike and transition zone set up for the Half Moon Bay Triathlon?
The transition zone will close at 7am sharp and nobody will be allowed to take bikes in or out, for security reasons, after this time.
When can I pick up my packet for the Half Moon Bay triathlon?
You will be able to pick up your race packet on Friday 17th April at the Sports Basement - Sunnyvale between 4PM and 8PM. You will also be able to pick your packet up at Pillar Point Harbor on Saturday 18th between 11AM and 5PM. Please make sure to bring your ID with you.
