Halloween In Emmaus 5K Race

Join us for the Halloween in Emmaus 5K Race! It's not your average race, because we want you to run in costume! Get ready for a night of spooky fun and healthy competition. The race starts at 6:30PM, right before the annual Halloween Parade at 7:00PM. Not only will we be giving out prizes for the fastest times, but we're also recognizing the best costumes. Make sure to check our Halloween in Emmaus 5K Facebook Page for updates on the costume contests. It's going to be a blast! The race begins at 9th and Chestnut St in Emmaus and finishes at Triangle Park. So you'll have some beautiful scenery along the way as you dash towards the finish line. Remember, if you want a guaranteed shirt size, make sure to sign up before October 1st. We don't want you to miss out on your perfect fit! When it comes to picking up your race number and shirt, you have a few options: - On Friday, swing by the Keystone Running Store between 10:00AM and 7:00PM. - On Saturday, the Keystone Running Store will be open from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. - If it's race day, head to the Emmaus High School Annex Lot between 4:45 and 6:10PM. We've got you covered! In case of rain, don't worry! We'll follow the parade schedule. If the parade is postponed due to weather, the race will be too. The rain date is Sunday at 5:30PM, one hour earlier than the Saturday start time. For the most up-to-date information, be sure to like our Halloween in Emmaus 5K Facebook page. We'll keep you in the loop on any changes or announcements. After the race, get ready for some well-deserved recognition! Awards will be presented immediately following the race at around 7:10PM. We'll be wrapped up by 7:25PM to make way for the parade. Here's a breakdown of the awards: - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall (male + female): Cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 respectively. - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place best costume (additional categories on our Facebook page): Cash prizes of $75, $50, and $25 respectively. - 1st and 2nd place in age groups (male + female) spanning from 10 and under to 60+: Gift certificates will be awarded.
