Route information
This fast and flat course takes you through beautiful Woodley Park for a perfect day of fall running. The temperature may be dropping, but speed will not be as runners cruise around the Lake Balboa bike path, enjoying the crisp fall air and autumn colors. This fast and flat course is the perfect opportunity to set that personal record to kick off your fall running season, or merely just a great opportunity and explore the scenic park.
All races will start at the corner of Woodley Ave and Victory Blvd, near the Japanese Garden. Half marathoners will travel up to the golf course, before turning around and heading through the middle of the park until they reach the bike path that runs along the perimeter of the park and back to the start for your second loop.
The 10K will follow a similar route but will complete only 1 loop of the course, and the 5K course will travel out along the main bike path along Woodley Avenue before reaching the 5K turnaround sign, and return back along the same route to the start.
The race has a generous 4 hour time limit, meaning that runners of all abilities can take their time to complete the event and enjoy the scenery along the way.
Runners can celebrate their achievements after the race with a free plate of freshly made street tacos and the buzzing post-race party.
