Helene Cody Cranbury 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Welcome to the Helene Cody Cranbury 5K! This event is a special way to honor the memory of Helene Cody, a remarkable individual who had an incredible passion for distance running and community service. Sadly, Helene passed away from a brain aneurysm on her 16th birthday in 2008. However, her legacy lives on through this event and the Helene Cody Foundation. The first Helene Cody Cranbury 5K was hosted by one of Helene's classmates in 2008, and ever since, it has been bringing our community together while raising funds for youth service projects and scholarships through the Helene Cody Foundation. Don't miss out on a guaranteed event t-shirt! Register by August 7th to secure yours. After that date, t-shirts will be given while supplies last for those who register. We want to make things convenient for you, so we have two packet pickup nights this year! The first is on Wednesday, September 4th at the Cranbury branch of Princeton Soup and Sandwich Company from 4-6 PM. The second is on Thursday, September 5th at Fleet Feet Princeton (Princeton Running Company) from 5-7 PM. If you have preregistered, you can pick up your t-shirt, bottle, and race bib at these events to skip the lines on race day. If you haven't registered yet, don't worry! You can still sign up on the morning of the race at Heritage Park in Cranbury. The registration fee for the 1 Mile race is $30, and you can register from 7:30-8:00 AM. For the 5K race, the registration fee is $35, and registration is open from 7:30-8:30 AM. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Helene Cody Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity. Their mission is to inspire youth to volunteer, making positive impacts in their communities and in their own lives.
