Packet Mailing

The sweet life is an easy life! Simplify your race experience by adding packet mailing to your Hot Chocolate registration.

Look forward to your packet on your doorstep about five days before the race. Your packet includes your race day swag, bib, and reusable drawstring bag that’s super handy on race day. If you opt for packet mailing, there is no requirement to attend Expo. Of course, we highly recommend checking it out as an introduction to your race weekend– chocolate samples, race gear, vendors, oh my! Packet mailing is a convenient option for suburb-dwellers as well as those with tight schedules.

To add packet mailing to an existing race registration, you may do so by logging into your account and adding it to each registration you’d like to have mailed out. We close packet mailing three weeks before the race, so be sure to sign up early!

If you’d like to swap your goodie bag out for another size, please attend one of the Expo dates and visit the swap booth. Since this feature is available on a first-come first-serve basis, we cannot guarantee the availability of your desired size. Please keep in mind that there will be no race day or post-race goodie bag swap.

The Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k, coined as America’s Sweetest Race, is brought to you by RAM Racing. Established in 2008, the inaugural Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k ran through the streets of Chicago, Illinois. Since its inception, over 200,000 participants have run for chocolate, making it the fastest growing race series in the nation! Each Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k race features both a 15k (9.3miles) and 5k (3.1miles) distance and all runners are encouraged to join the fun! Participants receive an award winning goodie bag, which they collect at the expo along with their race packet. The chocolate really begins to flow at the Post Race Party where runners enjoy music, Hot Chocolate merchandise, and a finisher’s mugs filled with hot chocolate, chocolate fondue and tasty dippable treats! Make-A-Wish® is the official race charity of the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k! Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness.
