Route information
Terrain: Road
All courses are fast, paved & shaded and USAT&F certified.
The course will be closed to all vehicles and bicycles for the entire 5k & half marathon.
The courses are marked at every mile. There will be aid stations with electrolyte (Gatorade) replacement drinks and water approximately every 2.5 miles.
The Half Marathon course will begin at Dyerville Bridge and take runners towards the Avenue of the Giants where they will turn around at the river stop and return to the finishing area.
The Marathon course follows this route before taking runners onto Bull Creek Road after the first turnaround, they will work their way up to Bull Creek before turning back and heading towards the start/finish area.

The race staging area is at Dyerville Bridge, follow the US 101 to arrive at the start area. The driving time from San Francisco or Sacramento is about 5 hours and from Portland 8 hours.
Flights
The nearest commercial airport is Eureka/Arcata, about 60 miles to the north. The Airport is serviced by United so plan accordingly as flight cancellations are common. Flights are available to and from San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento.
Shuttles
There is no shuttle service available to the race since the race is held in a rural area in a state park.

Parking information will be provided closer to the event.

Early Packet Pickup is available from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday at the Race Staging Area. Packet Pickup will also be available on Sunday from 8:00 am.

There are no age restrictions for the event, meaning fun for all the family.

There is no cut-off time for this event. Please do take your time and run at your own pace.

The use of bikes, skateboards, joggers, and scooters is prohibited.

Participants should not wear headphones on the course.
Dogs
Please leave your dog at home, this event does not allow them to join any of the races.
