Route information
This hilly 5k takes runners around the perimeter of Lory State Park as they begin by turning off Lodgepole Drive and climbing from the 0.5k mark up over 150m until reaching the 1.5k mark. Participants will then travel through winding turns as they enter the State Park area and take the Well Culch Trail.
After a sharp bend, runners will enter the Timber Trail and then switch to the steep downhill and technical section on the Kimmone Trail. After this twisting section, runners will drift onto the W Valley Trail which they will follow towards the start-finish line.

Reach Lory State Park by taking the I-25 and then following the US-287 until reaching the park entrance. The starting area is just off Lodgepole Drive and the E Valley Trail.
