Jackalope Jam routes

The course is at sea level through the 7IL Ranch and is run over gravel. Please note that the course is not shaded. The route is 0.75miles out and back, making each loop 1.5miles on a farm road. You must complete as many loops as possible within your time limit.

There will be an aid station located at the Start/Finish of each loop.

  • Salty snacks: pringles, trail mix
  • Other cold foods: PB&J Sandwiches, bean burritos, bananas, oranges, and assorted fruits
  • Hot foods: Quesadillas, soups, ramen, potatoes, grilled cheese sandwiches. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options
  • Two sleep/rest tents


  • Hoodies for: 72hr/48hr/24hr runners
  • Tech Shirts for: 12hr/6hr runners
  • Medals for: those who complete 26.2 miles and 50 miles
  • Buckles for: those who complete 100km, 100 miles, 150 miles, 200 miles, and 250 miles
  • Champions Jackets for: men and women who ruck the most miles for each race division in the light and heavy categories.
  • Individual Awards:
    • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Men and Women Overall for each distance and category
    • 1st and 2nd Men and Women over the age of 50

Friday 21st February

  • 07:00 - Packet Pickup opens
  • 09:00 - 48hr Race starts
  • 19:00 - Packet Pickup closes

Saturday 22nd February

  • 07:00 - Packet Pickup opens
  • 09:00 - Packet Pickup closes
  • 09:00 - 24hr/12hr/6hr Races start
  • 15:00 - 6hr Race finishes
  • 21:00 - 12hr Race finishes

Sunday 23rd February

  • 09:00 - All races finish


Jackalope Light:

  • If you weigh under 150lbs you will carry: 10lb ruck plate/2 wrapped bricks/10lb filler bag
  • If you weigh over 150lbs you will carry: 20lb ruck plate/4 wrapped bricks/20lb filler bag

Jackalope Heavy:

  • If you weigh under 150lbs you will carry: 20lb ruck plate/4 wrapped bricks/20lb filler bag
  • If you weigh over 150lbs you will carry: 30lb ruck plate/6 wrapped bricks/30lb filler bag
    Kit List

    Cups will not be used at the aid stations, so please bring your own reusable cups, bottles or hydration packs.


    Crew can be located anywhere that isn't on the actual race course.


    Shifts for volunteering will last 4-8 hours. If you want to sign up to volunteer, you are welcome to email [email protected]

    All volunteers will receive:

    • Free park entry
    • Camping area
    • Race merch
    • Meals provided

    If you do 1 shift, you will get 50% race credit for a future one-day race. If you do 2 shifts, you will get 100% credit for a future one-day race.
