Are you ready to join us for an incredible event at the Jersey Shore? Get ready to Run The Jersey Shore and make a difference for the Jersey Shore Dream Center and other charitable organizations. Mark your calendars because the Asbury Park Half Marathon is not just any race, it's the RRCA Eastern Region Championship Race! Exciting, right? Here are the details you need to know: The Asbury Park Half Marathon and Jersey Shore 5K will kick off at 8:30 am on Ocean Avenue in front of Convention Hall in Asbury Park. But that's not all! The Jersey Shore Relay will also start at the same time, but in Seaside Heights. We want everyone to have a fantastic and safe experience, so we have a cutoff time of 5 hours and 30 minutes for all runners and teams in the Relay. If you haven't passed the relay transition areas by certain times, we'll kindly ask you to leave the course. Don't worry though, we'll provide transportation to the finish if needed. Just remember, if you choose to continue after being asked to leave, it'll be at your own risk as support may not be available along the way. Now, let's talk deadlines. We have a few important ones to keep in mind. For relay runners, here are the transition deadline times you need to beat: - Point Pleasant Beach Transition (approximately 13 miles): 2 hours and 45 minutes - Manasquan Transition (approximately 18 miles): 3 hours 50 minutes - Belmar Transition (approximately 22 miles): 4 hours 50 minutes. If your bib isn't mailed, we'll provide you with dates, times, and locations for bib pickup. - To secure your preferred shirt size, make sure to register by March 1. - Bib transfers are allowed until March 1, with a $10 charge. After that, no more bib transfers will be accepted. - In case of an emergency, you have until March 1 to defer your race until 2025. Just reach out to our registration team to take care of it.
