Celebrate 'Juneteenth' the end of slavery in the US on June 19, 1865. A community 5K Run/Walk at beautiful Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, NY home of Fredrick Douglass abolitionist. The ROC JUNETEENTH 5K Run/Walk will support the building of Rochester's Historic Civil Rights Park at Baden Park. Come and be part of Rochester's history by supporting this great endeavor. We anticipate Rochester's Mayor Lovely Warren to issue a Proclamation for the Celebration of Juneteenth. We are thrilled to have this occur for our City!
