Route information
Both courses start from the same point, adjacent Parking lot E and the Kite Flying area of Shoreline Park. The 5K is basically a Loop course along nice bay and park trails. From the start, the course goes out to paved levy trails along Stevens Creek and then paved Bay trails to Shoreline Lake. The 5K doubles back from a point along side Shoreline lake, continuing along a paved trail alongside the park entrance road to the finish point.
The 10K is basically an out-and-back course along nice bay trails. From the start, the course goes out to paved levy trails along Stevens Creek and then paved Bay trails along the bay marsh and Charleston Slough. The course then doubles back from a turnaround point, continuing along the Bay trails where you will encounter runners from both directions to the finish point.

The race Start and Finish are located at the Kite Flying Area inside Shoreline park. Turn right into Parking lot E, just after the main ranger entrance shack. Parking is free.
