Celebrate the last blast of summer at the Labor Day Half Marathon. Sweat your socks off and let summer have its last hooray at Parker’s Salisbury Park, just a few miles southeast of Denver. There’s a distance to meet every taste with a half marathon, 10K and 5K. The race travels along the scenic banks of the Cherry Creek. This flat and fast course just might propel you to a new personal record! And if you’re in it just for the fun, well, we totally catch your drift. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome. Enjoy your three-day weekend with a race that includes a technical running shirt, finisher’s medals for everyone, chip timing and great post race food at the finish!

Labor Day Half Marathon, 10K and 5K routes

The Labor Day Half Marathon will take place at Salisbury Park in Parker. The race will travel through the park and onto the Cherry Creek Trail. The entire course is paved.

Event Details

  1. All participants will receive a race logo gender-specific technical shirt with their registration.
  2. All finishers will get a finishers medal.

Race Day Packet Pick-up
You can also pick up your race packet on race morning before the race. Race day packet pick-up will open at 6:00 AM and closes at the start of the last race.

Spectators are welcome!

  • Aid stations will be located at mile 1.5 in the 5K; miles 1.5, 2.75, 3.25 and 4.5 in the 10K; and miles 1.5, 2.75, 4, 5.5, 7.5, 9, 10.25 and 11.5. They will have water and Gatorade. There will be gels at miles 5.5 and 7.5 in the half marathon.
  • Bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates are not allowed in the race.
  • We do allow dogs to run with runners. Please start at the back of the pack if you are running with your dog. All dogs must be leashed at all times and dogs running with runners must be confined to a six-foot leash or shorter. Failure to comply will result in a disqualification.
  • Strollers are allowed. However, please be courteous to other runners and start at the back of the pack if you are going to push a stroller.
  • Headphones are discouraged as you may not be able to hear faster runners coming from behind you.
  • You may walk any distance, as long as you can finish within the 4-hour time limit.

Weather & Safety Issues
We all know that the weather in Colorado is day to day. The average low temperature in early September is 47 degrees and the average high temperature is 82 degrees. The race will be run no matter what the weather!
