Half Marathon

Start time: 8:00 am

Start at Woodley park -1, at the corner of Woodley Ave and Victory Blvd, head west through the tunnel walk way, when you exit the tunnel take a right, then another right (yes a big U-turn) onto the main bike path that runs along Woodley Ave, follow the paved bike path up to the HALF MARATHON turn around sign (golf course parking lot) , turn around and head back up the bike path to the large fork in the road at the main dirt trail, turn left at the dirt trail that will lead you to the west side bike path that runs along Balboa Blvd, turn right and follow the bike path that runs along the perimeter of the park and that will lead you back to the tunnel walk way and to the Start / Finish line and start your second loop. Start of loop 2 is through the YELLOW chute.

10k Course

Start time: 8:15 am

Start at Woodley park -1, head west through the tunnel walk way, when you exit the tunnel take a right, then another right (yes a big U-turn) onto the main bike path that runs along Woodley Ave, follow the paved bike path up to the 10K turn around sign ( Burbank Blvd & Hayvenhurst Ave ) , turn around and head back up the bike path to the large fork in the road at the main dirt trail, turn left at the dirt trail that will lead you to the west side bike path that runs along Balboa Blvd, turn right and follow the bike path that runs along the perimeter of the park and that will lead you back to the tunnel walk way and to the Start / Finish line.


5k course

Start time: 8:30 am

Start at Woodley park -1, head west through the tunnel walk way, when you exit the tunnel take a right, then another right (yes a big U-turn) onto the main bike path that runs along Woodley Ave, follow the paved bike path up to the 5k turn around sign, turn around and head back up the bike path to the finish line

Where do I park?
There is a parking lot just next to the start line. If that is full, there is also parking in the dirt parking lot across the street

Where and when is chip, bib and t-shirt collection?
Fleet Feet Encino, 16545 Ventura Boulevard, Encino CA 91436
Saturday, 30 March 2020 from 10am to 2pm
This will also be the final chance to enter the race, as registration for the race on race day is not possible

What is half marathon cut-off time?
The half marathon must be complete within 4 hours.
Are there race prizes?
Yes - the top 3 men and women and top 3 in each group receive awards. Other competitors also have the chance to win several lucky-dip prizes.
Can I pick up my chip, bib and t-shirt on race day?
Yes, but please ensure you come early. We advise that you collect your packet the day before from Fleet Feet Encino, 16545 Ventura Boulevard, Encino CA 91436 Race check-in opens at 7:00am and closes at 7:45am There is no race day registration.
Are there first-aid stations and bathroom facilities?
There will be aid stations every 1.5 miles along the course.
Will the race commence in waves?
The race will begin in waves to reduce congestion, starting every 2 minutes. On the day, please start behind the banner that most closely matches your estimated race pace.
