Lake Chabot routes

Starting at the Marina, runners take on Lake Chabot reservoir head first up through the beautiful forests and into the hills surrounding the body of water. This run offers beginners a brilliant entry into the sport, whilst maintaining a fair amount of challenge for the veteran runners out there who are looking for their next big challenge.

Terrain: The trail's terrain is largely made up of dirt road and a portion of asphalt, giving participants a good mixture of low impact and fast, hard tarmac.

Elevation Gain: These routes are somewhat hilly, but nothing to be worried about. The 5 miler consists of just 380 feet, the half marathon and 30K consist of 1,450 - 1,830 feet, while the longer races include 2,900 and 3,280 feet of elevation gain respectively.
