Lakewood Alzheimer's 5K Run/Walk

Get your running shoes ready for the inaugural Lakewood/Alzheimer's 5K Run/Walk! Team Lakewood, a stellar group of residents and staff from the Lakewood Retirement Community, is leading the charge. After ranking 33rd out of over 52,000 teams nationwide in 2022, we're setting our sights even higher with a goal to raise $50,000 this year. Every stride you take helps fuel the Alzheimer's Association's critical work in supporting those affected by Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and the imperative research initiatives.

The action kicks off at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 30th, for the timed in-person race, with virtual participants joining the race against Alzheimer's anytime from noon on March 29th to midnight on April 15th. Remember, 100% of the net profit goes directly to the Alzheimer's Association, making every step you take a step towards a cure! Join us, have fun, and make a powerful impact!
