Route information
The event will take place next to the Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex.
The run will be a straight out and back course starting and finishing next to the parking lot and the transition area. The Fun Run and the Short Course will turn around at the end of the parking lot, and the Long Course will turn around at Fire Station 44.
The bike section will start and finish on the other side of the transition area, next to the NV-613. Both the Short & Long Courses will head west, turning around at the second intersection with Angel Park Trail. The Short Course will finish at the transition area and the Long course will continue past, turning around again at Field #10.
The Fun Run completes a single short run.
The Short Course & the Long Course Duathlons complete a run, then bike, then run on their respective courses.

Exit the NV-613 onto N Buffalo Dr, head north, and turn left onto W Washington Ave to reach the event.

There will be parking available at the north center parking lot of Kellogg Zaher park.

Packet Pickup
There will be a mandatory packet pick-up at McGhies Ski & Bike(4035 S Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89147) on Friday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Participants must be present with a legal guardian to pick up their race packet.
Age Limits
The Fun Run is for 4 to 8 year olds. The Short Course is for 6 to 11 year olds.
The Long Course is for 10 to 15 year olds.
The Long Course is for 10 to 15 year olds.

The order is run, then bike, then run again.
What is body marking and why is it done at the Las Vegas Kids Duathlon?
All participants must be body-marked for safety, identification, and competition when they pick up their packet. Participant race numbers will be written on the outside of left/right arms and legs. Their age will be written on their right back calf.
Can a friend pickup my childs packet for the Las Vegas Kids Duathlon?
No, per USA Triathlon rules, only a legal guardian of a minor 17 years or younger may pick up a packet for a registered participant. You must show a legal photo ID.
