Route information
18 miles away from Las Vegas, this race provides stunning views, including over Lake Mead, which is the USA's largest man-made lake. Running through the National Recreation Area, you'll take in some historic sites along the way.
Half Marathon
Starting at the trailhead of the historic Railroad, you begin with a 2mile out-and-back west before then joining the Railroad Trail. You will pass through the 6 tunnels used in the 1930s during the construction of the Hoover Dam, before the turnaround point at the dam itself. You then retrace your steps to the finish line.
12k/7.17 Mile Run
Head east from the Railroad Trailhead, passing through the 6 tunnels until the turning point and head back towards the finish line.
5k/3.1 Mile Course
This is an out-and-back route for 1.55 miles.
