Runners will leave the Santa Ana River trail briefly and run through a peaceful residential neighborhood. After returning to the Santa Ana River Trail, the course heads out to Anza Narrows Park, with great views of the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge. Runners will turn around here, and return to Fairmount Park on the Santa Ana River Trail.

Pace Groups: Pacers will go off at the following half marathon times: 1:30; 1:40; 1:50; 2:00; 2:15; 2:30; 2:45; 3:00; 4:00

Time limit: There is a four-hour time limit on the Half Marathon course. Participants need to maintain an 18:20 minute/mile.

The Riverside Reindeer Run 5K Loop

The 5k course starts in the same places as the Half Marathon.

The course runs west out of Fairmount Park and past Lake Evans before turning on Redwood Ave and running through a peaceful residential area. Runners will then turn onto Mission Ave. and return to Fairmount Park on the Santa Ana River Trail.

Get excited for the “Santa Lane”– a section of the course filled with holiday music, decorations and entertainment!

Kids Run

Let's make this a full family affair - if you’re excited about running, your kids will be, too! Help them learn about the joys of running by entering them into the Kids Run. Registration is just $20 per child and includes a race bib, finisher’s medal and event t-shirt. Parents are welcome to run alongside their kids or cheer for them at the start/finish line.

Runners will leave the expo area and run through Fairmont park and onto the race course. Kids will run approximately 1K before running through the official Riverside Reindeer Run finish arch and returning to cheering families and friends!

There will be a Kids Zone in the Health & Fitness Expo Area for games, tattoos (one thousand glitter tattoos!), coloring, hula hoops, and much more.
