Route information
The Long Beach Classic Half & 5k is a scenic and beautiful event taking place at Marine Stadium in Long Beach. The event consists of two courses, the 5k & the Half Marathon.
The 5k will mainly take place beside the water. Starting at the intersection between Appian Way and Bayshore Dr, the course runs east, making a U-turn at Long Beach Yacht Club. The course then continues on Appian Way, before turning onto Paoli Way and finishing in Marine Stadium at Boat Ramp.
The Half Marathon takes participants along the Long Beach shoreline. It initially follows the same route as the 5k, before turning left onto Bayshore Ave, and running down to Longshore Beach. It makes a U-turn at 8th Place before returning to Marine Stadium.

A Running Legacy
Our Legacy started in 2008 with the Long Beach Marathon. It was the hardest event we’ve ever worked on. Over 100 hours in one week, no sleep for 48 hours straight, and very little time to eat. However, at the end of the day, everything went smoothly. Knowing we need to continue to grow and create a better community of participants is what drives us to keep going. Since 2008 Legacy has done over 150 events either as an owner, consultant, or manager. We believe that everyone has had a Legacy, but not have everyone has figured out what their Legacy is. We strive to create opportunities for people to find their own Legacy.
