Following the traditional Greek Olympic Games this stadium-based event takes participants through exciting obstacles. Whether you are a first timer or an experienced Spartan warrior this event will get you puffed. Come out for the finisher's medal or the braggin' rights.

Spartan Race - Angel Stadium of Anaheim routes


Angel Stadium, located in the heart of Anaheim is as good a place as any to test your mental fortitude. This awesome race puts you on the ballpark, and through 20 obstacles of varying difficulty.

You cover all parts of the stadium from the locker rooms to the pitch, and everything in between. There is no better way to see such a place.

Raceday Logistics

7:30am - Elite Men
7:45am - Elite Women
8:00am - 8:45am - Age Group Start Times
9:00am - 12:45pm - Morning Start Times
1:00pm - Afternoon Start Times Begin

Participants should arrive an hour and a half before your race start time to give yourself enough time to park, grab your race pack, drop off any excess bags at bag drop and get sufficiently warmed up for battle.

Kit List

Please remember to bring:

  • Spartan ID
  • Spartan Barcode (mobile version is ok)
  • Extra clothes
  • Reserve a locker before the race online, with Safe and Sound Lockers to secure your valuables.
  • High-performance clothing made of water wicking fabrics
  • Appropriate shoes
  • Race nutrition and water (optional)

Please leave your bad attitude at the door.


Spectators are encouraged to come down to this event, its an awesome chance to see the stadium in a different light and cheer on your family and friends as they race around the course.

I am just spectating do I need to buy a pass?
Yes, in order to watch the race you should purchase the festival pass for $10. This includes a merchandise discount card and access to a selection of great food vendors.
