Route information
The run will kick-off from outside the event's major sponsor - Mare Island Brewing Company - who will also be supplying a free beer, post-race.
From here, runners will make their way through the iconic naval yard on the Island's Eastern edge and take in stunning views of the Bay, Mt Diablo, and Mt. Tamalpais.
After, you will speed down to the Old Admiral Housing which includes St Peter's Chapel and loop round to the Western side of the Island.
The 5K and 10K will pass the Old Admiral Housing, before then looping back toward the finish.

Are there refreshment stations?
There will be water stations on the course. The Half Marathon will have a station at: 2.5M, 5M, 6.3M, 8M, and 9.8M.
What do finisher's receive?
Finisher's will receive a race medal and t-shirt, as well as a post-race craft beer.
What is the terrain like?
The run will take place on compacted gravel paths, although it is unpaved in parts.
