Route information
Hosted in the nation’s capital with the start and finish in Arlington, VA, the Marine Corps Marathon offers an unparalleled journey through the most recognizable landmarks in our country. Begin the run situated between the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery, continue through Rosslyn before journeying into the District to tour Georgetown and the National Mall on the way to ‘beating the bridge.’ Enter Arlington and pass the Pentagon, tour Crystal City and finish uphill (you read that right) at the Marine Corps War Memorial.

Get full directionsRunners and spectators can utilize of a variety of transportation options during MCM Weekend to arrive at event locations in Arlington, the home of the MCM and the nation’s capital. The Metro will be opening at 5 a.m. on event morning.

Packet Pickup
All Marine Corps Marathon Weekend participants are required to attend Packet Pick-up, located within the MCM Health & Fitness Expo, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, to obtain the official bib with timing device and technical competitor shirt. Runners are required to bring the e-Card and a photo ID to Packet Pick-up. E-Cards are emailed to all participants in the weeks prior to the event.
Aid / Water Stations
There will be a total of 22 aid / water stations along the route. Plus some finish line hospitality to refuel after those grueling miles.
