The Start will be split into three Waves . Racers will make a water start at the Hillsmere Beach and paddle 2 miles around three buoys and finish back at the same spot.. Racers will then transition to their bikes next to the Beach Parking lot.
Bike
The 15 mile three loop course is on paved, flat residential roads through the Hillsmere community. Racers will enjoy the bay setting and a view of the Chesapeake Bay. Roads will be open to traffic and there is a chance riders may be stopped at the main community intersection to prevent excessive traffic backup.
Run
The 3.1 mile run is a scenic two loop run through Hillsmere community. Finish in style, where your fans and cold refreshments will be waiting.
