Route information
The 5k road race goes through the heart of Braintree. The mostly flat course starts at historic Braintree Town Hall, passing through South Braintree Square, near Sunset Lake, up Franklin St to Five Corners before heading up the hill on West St and back to Washington Street to Town Hall. And yes, we added an extra loop around the Town Hall Drive to get it to 5k.
What's included
Family friendly food, beverages and activities provided before and after the race for all participants and their supporters. $100 prize money offered to the top male & top female finishers in the 5k race. Prizes to top male & female teens and under age 12 in 5k race and under age 12 and age 6 in 1 mile races, too!

The race begins at 9:00AM on Sunday May 5th. The race site, including day-of registration opens at 7:00am. Parking is available at Thayer Academy and Thayer Public Library
