How to get there
180 S Flagler Ave, Homestead, FL 33030, USA
Get full directionsDue to the large volume of participants (2000+) in this event, there is no spectator parking at Larry & Penny Thompson Park. Spectator parking is available at Zoo Miami. Spectators must carpool with participants if they wish to watch the swim portion of the race as the first tram from Zoo Miami is after the swim has finished. Foot traffic is not allowed on the tram path and it is too far to go around on foot.
Spectator Info
This is a very family friendly event. Spectators can watch the swim from a great spot along the nearly 1 mile edge of the lake. There is even a children's playground right next to the finish line! Afterwards, they can go on over to Zoo Miami to check out one of the nations best zoos while they cheer on competitors who are on the run course. Zoo Miami will be providing a tram service to transport people back and forth to the zoo. The tram will run continuously between Zoo Miami and Larry & Penny Thompson Park from 10:00am – 5:00pm, see schedule below. The zoo is open from10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
