Racers will be released in waves of 250 every 15 minutes. You will be notified of your wave start time a few days before race day.
You are advised to arrive 90 minutes before your start time. This will allow you to park, collect your race packet, drop off your baggage, and warm up.

- Your ID
- Barcode (printed or saved to your phone) (find it in your Spartan Account)
- Towel, waterproof bag, & extra (dry) clothes/shoes
- Sunscreen & hydration
- Headlamps are recommended for later start times
- We recommend wearing performance gear (compression bottoms and breathable tops)
- Comfortable shoes that you’ve trained in, but are OK to get dirty. Get an OCR-tested shoe and gear up for race day in the Spartan Shop
What Not To Bring:
- Outside food and drink (fuel for the race is OK)
- Pets (bring your support animal ID to register)
- Negative Attitude
FAQ's
What do I need to bring with me to the Spartan Race in Michigan?
You will need your ID, your registration barcode (print or save your registration barcode to your phone), a towel and extra (dry) clothes. It is also recommended to bring a headlamp and a hydration pack.
