What better way to start off your triathlon season that this gorgeous sprint series in Morgan Hill. Morgan Hill Triathlon is currently entering its 29th anniversary and regularly sells out, proving just how popular this event is.
Held in the UVAS Reservoir near Silicon Valley, this triathlon follows a 0.75M swim route, 16 mile bike and 5 mile run.
Swim: An interesting swim route where participants swim out and around a wooded peninsula before entering into transition.
Cycle: The 16 mile cycle heads south beyond the bottom of UVAS Reservoir before banking left and back up east of it and beyond Chesbro Reservoir. The total elevation gain is 462 ft. so a fairly flat route for a fast cycle split.
Run: The 5 mile run follows and out-and-back path north with an elevation gain of 32 ft, giving participants another opportunity for a fast split. There will be hydration stations every 1 mile on the run course.
Please Note: You are required to have a valid USAT membership to take place in this event. You will be asked to present this on race day so if you do not have a current USAT membership please select the ticket that includes a one day membership.
