Route information
This race starts at the Hacienda Entrance of Almaden Quicksilver Park. The 30k, Marathon, and 50k runners will travel into the Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve. The 30k will summit Bald Mountain, while both the Trail Marathon and 50k will take you to the top of the exclusive Mt. Umunhum.
All courses are an out and back.
All courses will be marked with single solid color ribbons tied to clothespins, signs & gypsum.

Can I wear headphones/earphones during the Mt. Umunhum Trail Conquest?
Yes, however, when you come into aid stations the event organiser recommends that you remove your listening devices so that they can communicate with you effectively. It is also recommend to only use one earpiece or to keep the volume low enough so you can hear the sounds of the environment, such as runners coming from behind or hikers up ahead.
