Route information
The course will be marked with orange ribbons when you will need to make turns and crosses trails. The 10k course is a single loop. The Half Marathon does the 10k course twice and Marathoners will start by running a 10k loop and then will complete an out-and-back section to Old Bale Grist Mill.
Take in the fantastic scenery, the trails will be narrow in some parts so beware of other racers. The trails are truly beautiful so make sure to enjoy the experience. The streams and rocks are truly rewarding to watch as you run. There will be some challenging hills throughout but they will be worth it as you will explore some local treasures that have been left untouched by tourists.

Parking costs $8 to park in Bothe-Napa State Park. Free parking is available along Highway 29 outside the park. This is an overflow park once all spaces within the park are full. If you are parking along Highway 29, be sure to park legally otherwise you will get ticketed.

Bib numbers
Most bib numbers will be posted if you have entered the event two weeks before the event. If you have entered later you will need to attend race check-in to pick up a bib number. Safety pins and course maps will also be available at the check-in.
Aid stations
There will be one aid station at the start/finish area. Half Marathoners will see it once in between their two loops. Marathoners will see it at miles 6,10,16, and 20.

Parking costs $8 to park in Bothe-Napa State Park. Free parking is available along Highway 29 outside the park. This is an overflow park once all spaces within the park are full. If you are parking along Highway 29, be sure to park legally otherwise you will get ticketed.
When will I receive my Bib number for the Napa Valley Trail Marathon, Half Marathon & 10k (March)?
You will receive your bib numbers in the post if you have entered 2 weeks before the race. If you have entered closer than two weeks you will have to pick up your bib number at the race check-in.
Will there be aid stations at the Napa Valley Trail Marathon, Half Marathon & 10k (March)?
Yes, there will be one aid station available at the start/finish area, the race is set out in loops so Half Marathon and Marathon entrants will pass it during the event. 10k entrants will not pass it but are welcome to use it after the event.
