There is limited parking available, so it is advised that you take public transport. The nearest subway stop is Prospect Park, which is accessed with the Q train.
Please note that from the festival area to the start line is approximately a 15 minute walk.
Event day logistics
You are advised to collect your race packet before raceday in order to avoid queues. When you register, there is an option to get your race bib mailed to you.
You can collect your race packet from a TBD location on the Friday before the race.
Sunday 8th March:
- 06:30 - Race packet pick-up opens at festival area on Center Drive
- 08:00 - 10K race starts
- 08:15 - 5K race starts
- 09:17 - Cut-off time for 5K
- 10:05 - Cut-off time for 10K
FAQs
Can I sign-up on the day?
If the event has not already sold out, tickets can be bought at an added cost of $10.
What are the age restrictions?
5k: Participants must be aged 6 or over
10k: Participants must be aged 12 or over
Where can I leave my bags?
There will be a bag check area provided in the Park, near the start line.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there will be toilets provided.
Where can I find my results?
Your results will be emailed to you, and the full results will be posted on the event organiser's website. You will also be able to view your finishing line photos and videos.
Are dogs or strollers allowed?
No, dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course.
Can I wear headphones?
It is not permitted to wear headphones during the race. If you desperately want to listen to music, you are allowed to wear one earbud in. If you are seen wearing both earbuds or headphones, you may be disqualified.
