NYCRUNS Queens Half Marathon routes

The races start and Finish on Dwight Eisenhower Promenade. The course winds through Flushing Meadows Park. The 5k course stays nearby, looping around the Unisphere and Pool of Industry. The Half Marathon follows the same route, but then adds on a lap of Meadow Lake.

    • 1st/2nd/3rd Male and Female overall
    • 1st/2nd/3rd Age-group: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
  • Half Marathon:
    • 1st/2nd/3rd Male and Female overall
    • 1st/2nd/3rd Age group: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
Raceday Logistics

You are advised to collect your race packet before raceday in order to avoid queues. When you register, there is an option to get your race bib mailed to you.

The time and location of pre-race pick-up is TBD.

Saturday 25th April:

  • 07:00 - Race packet pick-up opens in the festival area, approximately 0.25 miles from the start line
  • 08:30 - Race packet pick-up closes
  • 09:00 - Half Marathon and 5k races start
  • 10:02 - Cut-off for 5k race
  • 12:30 - Cut-off for Half Marathon

If you volunteer at an NYC run, you will get $50 in race credit for any future event. Alternatively, $25 will be donated to a charity of your choice.

Can I sign-up on the day?
If the event has not already sold out, tickets can be bought at an added cost of $15.
What are the age restrictions?
5k: Participants must be aged 6 or over Half Marathon: Participants must be aged 16 or over
Is there a cut-off time?
5k: within 1hr2mins (20 mins per mile) Half Marathon: within 3hr30mins (16 mins per mile) If you are slower than this pace, there will no longer be aid stations and on-course amenities provided, and you may be asked to stop.
Where can I leave my bags?
There will be a bag check area provided near the start line.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there will be toilets provided.
Where can I find my results?
Your results will be emailed to you, and the full results will be posted on the event organiser's website. You will also be able to view your finishing line photos and videos.
Are dogs or strollers allowed?
No, dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course.
Can I wear headphones?
It is not permitted to wear headphones during the race. If you desperately want to listen to music, you are allowed to wear one earbud in. If you are seen wearing both earbuds or headphones, you may be disqualified.
