NYCRUNS Spring Fling routes

The race starts and finishes near 108th Street, in Riverside Park. With stunning views over the Hudson River, this is a challenging course. The route is traffic-free, on tree-lined paths, and although there are some testing uphill sections, don't worry, you'll be rewarded with the downhill.

The volunteers were great! Although there were a few randoms walking on the course in the way of runners. I got poked with an umbrella during my run. Also, it would be nice to have a little more cover for the runners, bags and bagels while they wait in the rain :) Overall really solid though, thank you!

Wonderfully encouraging support from sign up through running the race on the day and follow up emails. The weather in the day was *horrible* but we were all in it together and the volunteers were so happy and cheerful. The route was nicely varied with some undulation to break up the flat. And even with the sleet and cold, the park/riverside venue was a lovely oasis of nature in the big city location of New York. Bag drop, bagel and fruit spread at the finish, and memento race t-shirt included in the race fee, but no medal. Very reasonable. The only slight niggle on the day was being held in the starting pen for quite a while when we were all very cold and wet and just wanted to get started. It's just a shame and unlucky the day of the race was the only one in the week before and after that was super wet as well as cold.As a visitor to the city, I loved the race and it was great to enjoy a park I wouldn't normally have found, gotten out for a reasonably priced 10K race, and feasted on a delicious and substantial bagel at the end.I'd recommend this race to anyone visiting New York at this time of year. Good fun and value for money for the 10K.

Tough to generate a whole lot of atmosphere with the weather but a lot of volunteers out there doung their best!
