Did the Half Marathon in 2018
I have a whole lotta love for Oakland and it was great to see a well organized event in The Town! From packet pickup parties during event week at Oaklandish and Sports Basement, to a cool shirt I actually wear outside of working out, to a route that explores scenic views of downtown, uptown, and Lake Merritt, this was a stellar event I look forward to coming back to. Did I mention the massive medal and mason jar I took home?! This race reflects the edgy, artistic, and progressive community it runs through.

Hello Oaktown Halfers, I signed up for the half marathon+5k and am recovering from a slight injury. This will slow down my time to about 4 hours. Will the race be cleared out by that time?

Hi! The Half Marathon has a 3 hour time limit as well as the 5K starting at 9:45am so you would miss the start of the 5K. If you feel you could only do one event or won't be able to keep to the time limit please get in touch with yourfriends@oaktownhalf.com ! :)
